What is the difference between CBSE and ICSE?

Difference between CBSE and ICSE

The two main school boards in India are the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). The CBSE is the most widely followed school board in India and is affiliated with the Central Government. It is focused on imparting knowledge that is practical and relevant for everyday life. The CBSE board also follows a more uniform syllabus for all schools affiliated with it across the country.

On the other hand, the ICSE board is more focused on preparing students for a college education and is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The ICSE board has a more comprehensive syllabus and is more academically oriented. Both boards are recognized by the government and both offer an excellent education to students.
